Days 1 - 3: Mumbo Camp, Malawi

You will spend the first 3 nights of your Malawi adventure package at Mumbo on an all inclusive basis, including all meals, return transfers from Lilongwe to Cape Maclear and non motorised water sports.

Accommodation: in 5 double/twin safari tents or one 4 bedded family unit.

Mumbo Island is an exclusive camp set amongst the tropical islands and pristine waters of Lake Malawi. The camp consists of 5 double/twin safari tents and one four bedded family unit. All are fully furnished and boasts a shaded view deck and hammock, blending beautifully into the lush environment.

Here guests will enjoy a tranquil and serene experience, complemented by sumptuous cuisine, warm hospitality and excellent personalised service. Activities at Mumbo include sea kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as explorations of the spectacular island in search of its abundant birdlife.

Days 4 - 6: Domwe Island, Malawi

Today, travel to Domwe Island where you will spend the remaining 3 nights of your Malawi adventure holiday in a spacious, fully furnished safari tent.

Accommodation: 3 safari tents on a self catering basis.

Domwe is the largest island in Lake Malawi and offers exclusive self catering accommodation in 3 large, comfortably furnished safari tents. Tents feature a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a bar and water sport gazebo. Domwe is ideal for guests wanting to combine an island and bush experience.

Ideal for active guests and nature lovers. Activities on Domwe Island include challenging nature trails and kayaking.

Please Note:

Unfortunately there is no diving instructor on the island at present, although there is a dive master. Therefore diving can only be arranged for qualified participants. Casual dives can be arranged at an additional fee per person, per dive.
